Wage
Starting wage is $15 This will Increase once per each activity when that activity/job is learned fully.
$15-$20 is the minimum to maximum.
The different jobs/categories are:
Checking people in, taking payment and booking groups. +$1
This one must be learned.
Instruct how to play, and then run Laser tag +$1
This one must be learned.
Instruct how to play, the rules and then run Nerf +$1
This one must be learned.
Instruct how to play, the rules and then run Air Soft +$1
This one is not completely necessary to learn.
Instruct how to and then start Archery +$1
This one is not completely necessary to learn fully.
You do not play any of the activities! Referee only and or run the check in front desk.
We are looking mostly for a front desk person, that would be the end goal but knowing the activities is also a must.
Knowing archery is not at all a requirement, beneficial but not necessary.
Prior knowledge about any of these is not needed.
The speed you learn each of the activities is up to you.
Time
Approximately (14hrs) a week but can be anywhere from 10-20 hrs a week. This could potentially be more if we find the right person.
These are the times that we are open and you could potentially be needed to work.
Evenings: Mondays to Thursdays 4:00 - 9:45
The average though is 3hrs on these days. 5:15 - 8:40 is more typical. A 4pm start time is 50/50
Fridays are from 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Saturdays are from 9:30 am - 11:00 pm
Sunday 9:30 am - 9:45 pm
Right now we are mostly looking for someone to work Sunday Morning and 1-3 evenings from Monday to Thursday.
Sunday morning to early afternoon from 9:30-2:30 is the only day that is firm on the shift we need filled.
Other than the Sunday morning shift we are flexible on what evenings and times can be worked.
Qualities
Excellent communication!!!! Must be able to clearly give instructions about the games and how they work and be well understood.
Very good with people (sense of humor) Make things fun.
Patience with kids/people but also need to be able to enforce the rules without coming across as a tyrant..
Very strict timeline to adhere to !!!!!!
There can be moments of high stress/chaos: Usually only lasts about 5-10 minutes: this is more on Fridays and Saturdays.
Basic computer skills are a must
Be able to Check groups in, Point of Sale, Bookings.
Run the Laser tag software games.
These systems are not overly complicated.
Able to problem solve is a must.
Must be able to be on time.
We are looking for university aged people or older. If you are still in university we would like you to have a few years left in Lethbridge before you move on. If you're just looking for a job for a few months this isn`t for you.
We are hoping to find someone more long term..
We would also be very interested to hear from anyone that is looking to be in the part time retired category.

Past work experience, especially jobs related to customer service is an asset.
We are interested to hear of past experiences that are not work related but might be related to working with youth and adults. References for these would also be good.
